The Green Bay Packers have signed 33-year old QB Seneca Wallace.  Wallace didn’t play last year and he last appeared in an NFL game back in 2011 with the Cleveland Browns.  Wallace has played in 62 games (21 starts) in his first seven years in the NFL and he has completed 452 of 764 passes (59.2%) for 4,808 yards with 31 TD passes and 18 INTs (81.3 QB Rating).  He has also carried the ball 68 times for 293 yards (4.3 ypc) with 1 TD run and he has also caught 6 passes for 106 yards (17.7 avg) so far in his career.  Wallace is only 6-15 (28.6%) as a starting QB in the NFL, but he has never had a supporting cast like he will in Green Bay.  Wallace will be the Packers’ #2 QB in 2013.  The Packers have released 24-year old QB B.J. Coleman to make room on the roster for Wallace.  Coleman didn’t play in any games as a rookie for the Packers last year.  I like this move for the Packers as Wallace is a respectable backup QB.
